Rendezvous:    At 1800 each Thursday evening, at the Race Committee vessel flying the RC flag in the mouth of the Susquehanna River or off the Tidewater Marina flagpole

Radio:              Boats should monitor VHF 68 for courtesy communications from the Race Committee.

Start:                Between yellow flag on Race Committee boat or Tidewater Flagpole and an adjacent navigation aid or HdGYC race mark. Boats must start within 10 minutes of the final class start time to be scored.

Boats whose class warning signal has not been made shall keep clear of the starting area.
At the discretion of the Race Committee, the race may be delayed to await favorable weather conditions

Course:            Designated by letters and numbers displayed on the Race Committee boat referencing special race buoy drop-marks or government marks based on the HdGYC Marks listing at https://hdgyc.org/racing/race-committee-and-course-instructions/racing-marks

Finish:             Between Tidewater marina flagpole and club mark Z or yellow flag on Race Committee boat and the last posted mark, unless course is shortened after the start at a designated mark of the course.

Time Limit:      2 hours for the first boat in a class to make a race; 2.5 hours from the start for each class for each boat in that class. This changes RRS 35.

Rules:              This regatta will be governed by the ‘rules’ as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing 2025-2028 (RRS). If there is a conflict between the Event Sailing Instructions and the Notice of Race, the Event Sailing Instructions shall apply.

Awards:            Distributed at the HdGYC Annual Banquet after the season.  Awards for the Spring and Summer series will be for 1st place for classes with 3 boats registered, 1st and 2nd place for classes with 5 boats registered, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for classes with 7+ boats.
